What Personal Information Do We Collect on the Site and Why?
We collect several types of information on our Site including “Personal Information,” which generally is information that can be used to identify you individually, such as your name and email address. The information we collect depends on what services you use on our Site(s). The following is a more detailed explanation of these types of information, as well as when and how we use it.
Contact Information. We may collect information that identifies you personally, such as your name and e-mail address, when You submit a form, such as, but not limited to, a request for information, a request for a Mereo point-of-view paper or other thought leadership content or participate in a Mereo supported event. We collect additional information if You choose to submit it, including Your title and place of employment, business telephone number, mailing and facsimile address, as well as the contents of Your questions and/or comments submitted along with this information. In the case of some forms this additional information is required. In general, we may use this information to respond to Your inquiry, request Your participation in a survey, provide You with the service that You have purchased, and contact You about Mereo solution or partner offerings that may be of interest to You.
Here are some details about certain features of our Site(s).
Newsletters. If You register for a Mereo newsletter, we will use Your email address to send the newsletter to You and you may be added to a list to receive additional promotions or communications.
Career Inquiries. Mereo accepts inquiries and applications regarding our open job postings through the Site. This may include resume files. Personal information submitted by job applicants when applying for a position is only used for the purpose of evaluating the candidate for a position at Mereo and is managed according to Mereo’s human resources department policies.
IP Addresses. Each visitor to the Site is identified by an IP address during their visit and IP addresses are automatically captured by the Site management software. Mereo uses this information to help improve the operation of the Site and may at some time use this information to help adjust the content of the Site to the general geographic location of the visitor and for reporting purposes.
Cookies. Mereo uses small files called “cookies” to improve the quality of a visitor’s interaction with the Site, to enable a shopping cart feature, and facilitate other advanced features. If You have set Your browser to reject cookies, some features of the Site may not work properly.
Information Sharing or Disclosure Practices
Mereo does not provide any of Your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without Your explicit consent, however Mereo may use Your information to contact you about Mereo solutions and services unless you opt-out of such uses as provided below. Choice and Opt-Out
You may opt-out of receiving Mereo newsletters or other email communications from Mereo by sending an email to insight@mereo.co. In addition, each email communication includes instructions on how to unsubscribe. Registrants of Mereo Exchange may cancel their registration by sending an email toexchange@mereo.co.
Security
Mereo uses commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain personal information You submit on the Site to protect it from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction by unauthorized parties. We may store information that we collect through our Site indefinitely except as otherwise required by law.
What this Privacy Statement Does NOT Address
This Privacy Statement does not address the personal data management practices of Mereo applicable to the operation and use of the Mereo Decision Maker Network.
